MRI to be performed on Kevin Durant's injured knee against the Heat

After suffering a right knee injury in the third quarter of Sunday's 102-101 victory over the Miami Heat,

Brooklyn Nets star forward Kevin Durant was declared out of the game.

According to Nets coach Jacque Vaughn, Durant is scheduled to have an MRI on Monday. With 1:05 remaining in the third quarter,

Heat swingman Jimmy Butler was hurt after having his shot blocked by Nets centre Ben Simmons

Durant was on the ground for a little while but continued to play after Butler landed back into his knee.

When the Nets called a timeout about 30 seconds later, Durant was forced to leave the game because he started rubbing his knee all over the court.
